BMW / MINI - Brake service reset error (DSC / CBS)
Resetting the service after replacing the brake discs and pads is not possible on your BMW or MINI?
This is a common problem and is generally linked to a software anomaly.
Essential due diligence
Before any work is carried out, it is essential to check that the pad wear sensor has been replaced.
Without a sensor new and original compatible, The brake service cannot be reset.
Can't reset despite new sensor?
If the reset fails from the instrument cluster (service menu) or via a diagnostic tool, it may be due to a software bug in the DSC or KOMBI system.
